Franziska Funken was a research associate at the Cologne Game Lab (TH Köln), specializing in game design and project management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Media Studies from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and a Master’s degree in Game Development and Research from TH Köln (Cologne Game Lab).
During her time at CGL, she contributed to projects such as The Migrants’ Chronicles: 1892, Antura, and the Games Technology Network. She also served as the program manager of the MA 3D Animation for Film & Games.
Her academic and professional interests included serious games, digital education, and transdisciplinary collaboration within diverse teams.
