Sergej was part of the ISEDA project, where he worked as a programmer on a serious game designed as a training tool for police officers conducting interviews with victims of domestic violence.
He studied Computer Science at the University of Paderborn and graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s thesis on the use of educational games for mobile phones. After spending five years working with a team of freelance developers on a successful simulation game, he joined a German game studio, contributing to the development of several simulation and adventure titles.
During his time at the Cologne Game Lab, he was able to further pursue one of his long-standing interests: exploring the potential of games beyond entertainment.
