Digital Clay is a full-service, award-winning animation and immersive media studio specializing in animated story-driven content, VR/AR experiences, and interactive narratives. Founded in India and now rooted in Cologne, Germany, we bring over a decade of expertise in animation filmmaking to global audiences.

Led by Pratima Pal (Writer, Director, Producer) and Mahee Pal (Game Designer, VR Developer), Digital Clay brings a rich history of storytelling and visual innovation to the local games scene. With decades of experience in 2D/3D animation, stop-motion, and immersive media, their work has been recognized at international festivals including Cannes Lions, Anima Mundi, and Stuttgart Animation Festival.

Current project: P.O.V.

In the Game Starter Foundry, the team is developing P.O.V., a narrative-first-person adventure game that invites players to see the world through the eyes of Jonas, a German cinematographer drawn into the life of Chanda, a Hijra in modern-day Mumbai. With a striking black-and-white aesthetic, photography-based mechanics, and a focus on empathy and identity, P.O.V. is a deeply personal and timely experience.
