Interreactive is a solo-developer game studio based in Cologne. The founder, Aleksandr Maldon, a digital artist and game designer, holds a vision that games interact with the player just as much as the player interacts with them. They can tell a story, argue with the player, provoke, comfort, and philosophize. They shouldn’t be afraid of discussing political, historical, and social topics.

Interreactive’s debut game, The Priyamsk Doctor, invites the player into the closed town the dystopian prison town of Priyamsk inspired by later- and post-Soviet culture, and arms the player with a surgeon’s scalp. Priyamsk’s citizens are sentenced to explore the abandoned bunkers overrun by mutants and the undead. Keeping the expeditioners alive involves stomach-turning procedures and distressing ethical choices (and some body parts are going to be lost in the process) but such is the way to unimaginable scientific discoveries! Perform surgeries, manage your clinic, and explore the grotesque world, full of irony and reflection upon the newest Eastern European culture and politics. Make medicine from petroleum, treat gopniks, help war veterans to adapt, and support them all as they explore the secret laboratories – and they will support you in your mission to keep your clinic afloat.
