The grand awards ceremony for the German Computergame Award went down on March 31 in Munich. We are pleased to announce that CGL student Ahmet Zahit Dönmez has won the 2nd prize in the category Young Talent Award – Best Prototype for his game “Words“.

“Words” is a slow-paced, narrative-focused, first person game where players solve puzzles and explore grim claustrophobic environments to discover an integral event that puts the main character in a confounding situation.

Last year, our “Welten der Werkstoffe”-team was awarded with the German Computer Game Award in the category “Best Serious Game”. Another winning game in 2021 was “Suzerain” by Torpor Games, that started off as the topic of the BA-thesis of CGL student Ilke Karademir. It was awarded as “Best Expert Game”.
