Kendys Ortega is a research associate at Cologne Game Lab, focused on heritage garment reconstruction in the HistoVeaR project using Gaussian Splatting and 3D data workflows. She previously served as Lead 3D Artist for the impactful Horizon Europe project ISEDA (Innovative Solutions for Eliminating Domestic Abuse). 

She holds a Master’s degree in 3D Animation for Film and Games from the ifs International Film School Cologne and the Cologne Game Lab. Her expertise lies in character design, likeness portraiture, digital humans, and visual storytelling, combining technical skill with creative research in digital character and heritage reconstruction.
