On August 26, 2026, the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur will host the Moderation Jam at Cologne Game Lab – a free peer-learning event for moderators of German-speaking gaming communities.

The program brings together community managers, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and develop practical approaches for creating fair, safe, and constructive online communities. Participants can look forward to keynote talks, collaborative workshops, networking opportunities, and a visit to gamescom.

Participation is free of charge and includes a gamescom wildcard as well as a travel subsidy.
