Title: Storyboard – from script to picture
Abstract:
At the beginning of a film project there is the idea and a script, but these are just words. The first step into scenic picture then is the storyboard. It merge together the designs of characters and set with the story. This is an essential step not only for further project planning, but also to check if the story really works and how the story is visually told. This lecture will highlight the interaction between design and story ending up in an expressive storyboard, that give all information needed to further productions steps for an animation feature film or a series.
