Khaleel Asyraaf Mat Sanusi is a postdoctoral researcher, developer, and teaching assistant at the Cologne Game Lab, TH Köln. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Games Technology at Limkokwing University (Malaysia) and Master’s degree in Media Informatics at Saarland University (Germany). In 2025, he completed his PhD in Educational Sciences on the topic ‘Augmenting a Learning Model within Immersive Learning Environments for Psychomotor Skills’ at the Open University of the Netherlands (OUNL). His research revolves around the use of multimodal immersive systems and artificial intelligence for the development of psychomotor skills by collecting, analysing, and exploiting data from multiple modalities. In 2020, he was a research assistant at the Center for Actionable Research of OUNL and part of the team working on the “MOBIUS: Smart Mobility Tracking with Smartphone Sensors” project, which won the Best Paper Award at the 11th EAI S-Cube Conference in Sensor System and Software.
