#FemDevsMeetup Special Award of the Jury of the German Computer Game Award 2023. Leonie Wolf and Casilda de Zulueta – both graduates of the Cologne Game Lab – receive the special award of this year’s DCP on behalf of the FemDevMeetup team!
The #FemDevsMeetup is a free event and non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women and marginalized groups in the games industry. Since 2019, the #FemDevsMeetup has offered regular talks, workshops, and networking opportunities for anyone interested. The goal is to create an inclusive and diverse community that supports and inspires each other.
The Special Jury Award of the German Computer Game Prize (DCP) is a special award given to outstanding projects or personalities who have made an essential contribution to the development of German gaming culture. The prize is endowed with 10,000 € and is determined by a main jury of representatives from the industry, politics, and society.
