We are excited to announce the next session of the Humanitarian Game Network‘s webinar series, where we explore the intersection of game design and humanitarian impact. We’re delighted to have our guests, Prof Dr. Stela Raytcheva and Mr. Yannick Schiefbein present their serious game experience on humanitarian crisis management.
Prof. Dr. Stela Raytcheva is a professor in management and organizational sciences, and Vice Director of the LAREQUOI Management Research Laboratory at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Her research focuses on co-construction of meaning, intercultural management, organizational communication, and change management. She is also interested in the impact of serious games on learning, particularly in the context of complex situations and intercultural understanding.
Mr. Yannick Schiefelbein is a committed entrepreneur, he has a rich background combining military service, commercial roles, profit center management, and strategic consulting. As the founder of Latitude Management, he supports companies in France, Spain, and Africa in developing and implementing their strategies, and designs immersive management training programs. He is also the co-founder of Kaizen IA, a consulting firm focused on AI, strategy, and training. He teaches in several Master’s programs at IAE ISM Paris-Saclay.
This is an incredible opportunity for students, academics, and professionals in the humanitarian field to engage directly with leading figures in both humanitarian work and serious games.
The webinar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to ask questions, share ideas, and gain deeper insights into the impact games can have on real-world crises.
Introduction:
At the heart of the Humanitarian Game Network initiative is a regular webinar series, where we’ll bring you face-to-face with the minds behind influential humanitarian games. Each month, we’ll feature a different developer, delving into their creative process, the purpose behind their games, and the tangible impact they’re striving to make.
From social issues to environmental advocacy, these developers are creating games aimed at driving humanitarian impact. Our goal is to make the valuable knowledge of these visionary game developers more accessible.
The webinars are designed to be interactive. At the end of each session, the audience have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and join in discussions with developers.
