In “Scintillia” the player finds him/herself in a day of a chronic pain patient. Personalized on his/her real life the game will make the player plan his day and master daily chores like a real pain patient would. He is accompanied by the unnerving and cynical “Pinta” who symbolizes chronic pain in the form of a weird looking creature who not only sabotages the player but manipulates his/her daily life. Throughout this game the player will learn important and interesting information that will make living with this illness or understanding it in real life a little easier.
